Description: A clump forming perennial Katrinus Deluxe features attractive, fine deep green, strap like leaves. Plants need little or no maintenance and are drought and frost tolerant.
Uses: Ideal for mass planting in garden beds and borders. Will tolerate exposed and windy positions.
Position: Grows well in full sun to shaded positions. Performs well in heavy clay or free draining soils.
Care: Very little care needed. Occasionally fertilise with slow release fertiliser to keep leaves a dark green colour.
Katrinus deluxe is a much better flowering version of Katrinus. It has very large flowers, and a slightly finer leaf than Katrinus. Like Katrinus, Katrinus deluxe has excellent disease tolerance and can be planted in depressed areas provided it is not ridiculously wet.
Katrinus deluxe forms a nice dense clump, grows to approximately 750mm in height, and has a very tall crown protecting it from disease.
